How the Technology Works
The wastewater treatment plant consists of a durable all-plastic tank, internally divided into separate technological treatment zones.
The system incorporates microfiltration modules, air distribution and aeration components, membranes and pumps. The tank is protected by a hinged, insulated cover.
1. Primary Settlement & Pre-Treatment
Incoming wastewater first enters the settlement section of the treatment plant.
Here, mechanical, floating and settleable solids are separated from the wastewater. The retained material is subsequently subjected to anaerobic digestion and hydrolysis.
2. Biological Treatment
After mechanical pre-treatment, the wastewater flows through an overflow into the activation section.
This area provides the biological treatment necessary to break down organic pollutants contained in the wastewater.
A fine-bubble aeration system installed at the bottom of the tank supplies the oxygen required for the biological treatment process.
3. Membrane Microfiltration
The activation section incorporates advanced membrane microfiltration modules.
The activated wastewater mixture is filtered through membranes with a pore diameter of approximately 0.03 μm, providing an additional physical barrier and producing exceptionally high-quality treated water.
Air supplied by a blower continuously supports the biological treatment process while also helping to clean the membrane surfaces and maintain efficient operation.
4. Controlled Treatment & Discharge
The treatment plant operates between predetermined minimum and maximum operating levels.
This creates an integrated accumulation capacity within the plant, allowing variations in incoming wastewater volumes to be managed effectively while helping maintain a controlled and uniform treated-water discharge.
